The trusty basswood body has been coated in high-gloss urethane lacquer and comes loaded with Direct Mount EVH® Wolfgang® Humbucking pickups as well as a D-Tuna system so you can swiftly switch between regular tunings and drop tunings. EVH® Bourns® Volume and Tone Pots

To counter the loss of high frequencies when reining in the volume, EVH have equipped the Wolfgang® Special with an EVH® Bourns® low-friction volume pot, which at the same time guarantees smooth volume swells and accurate tweaks. The tone control, meanwhile, is an EVH® Bourns® high-friction pot that, thanks to its 250K resistance, is hard to accidentally knock out of position with your little finger. In terms of playing comfort, you're looking at a 12 to 16-inch compound fretboard radius for effortless solos and rhythm work alike, while the EVH®-Branded Floyd Rose® Locking Tremolo is there to support divebombs and other high jinks.
